No punchline to this one, just an experiment in drawing the Magical Space Pony with a sample art brush pen I picked up.
The site might be updated only intermittently this week, as I’m planning on a couple vacation days to rest from Christmas. Lord willing, I’ll be back for my regular M-F schedule after the new year.
For what it’s worth, I believe the Magical Space Pony. It’s probably a frame up.
I blame the squirrels.

Yay! The Magical Space Pony is back in time for the holidays.
And yes, the 12 Drummers Drumming is pretty much an afterthought at this point. That pear tree is crowded enough as it is.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to end this strip early. I think I hear reindeer on the roof.

The only other “piping” reference that came to mind was either Old King Cole… Or the H.P. Lovecraft monster Azathoth, “encircled by his flopping horde of mindless and amorphous dancers, and lulled by the thin monotonous piping of a daemoniac flute held in nameless paws”. But that hardly seemed in keeping with the jolly mood of the holiday season.
So, we get a lizard in a “Mario” costume instead. Enjoy!
