Sorry, the Sharpie® bled through the paper a bit more than normal. (That, and I think I fell asleep at least twice while trying to draw this.) In case you’re wondering about that last bit of text, it’s announcing the theme song for Liz’s favorite TV show: “Zippy the Wonder Pig”.

Magical Space Pony seems slightly lacking in pep and spirit, for some reason. Perhaps it’s the costume? (I didn’t even know they made cheerleader outfits that would fit alien quadrupeds.)
I wasn’t sure how a propeller beanie would work in the vacuum of outer space… and then after adding a rocket jet to the beanie, it made even less sense. But it looks like it’s working, so I can’t argue with the results.
It was nice of Magical Space Pony to invite Liz and Goldie out on a field trip in deep space. I just wish they would have warned me there wouldn’t actually be a joke ready for today’s strip.
I’ve got no clue either. Sometimes, you just start drawing something and it doesn’t quite turn out like you think it will.
